R. David Genovese
R. David Genovese

R. David Genovese founded Baywater Properties in 2001, following a 12-year career in real estate investment banking in New York and London. Prior to founding Baywater, David served as Co-Head of Real Estate Investment Banking for Credit Suisse First Boston. Previously, David served as a Managing Director in Bankers Trust Company's Real Estate Investment Banking Group. Through the course of his career in investment banking, David was responsible for a variety of transactions valued in excess of $15.0 billion, including mergers and acquisitions, equity offerings, bond offerings, securitized financings, bank loans, and principal investments. David is an honors graduate of Colby College and The London School of Economics and Political Science. David also received an MBA from The Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania. David is currently a member of the Board of Directors of The Human Services Council of Norwalk, the Darien Athletic Foundation and The Real Estate Finance Association of Connecticut. David has served as a member of the Board of Overseers of Colby College, and as a board member of the Darien Technology and Community Foundation, the Darien YMCA, the Darien Historical Society, and Darien Revitalization, Inc. In 2007, David was named as one of the "40 under 40" business leaders in Fairfield County, Connecticut.

Rocco Genovese
Rocco Genovese

Rocky has been active in real estate in Fairfield County throughout his career, as well as being involved in a variety of other businesses. Most recently, Rocky served as President of Genovese Industries, Inc. of Stamford prior to the sale of its primary divisions to O&G Industries and Petro, Inc. He brings to Baywater a lifetime of business experience in Fairfield County, having managed his family’s business (founded in 1923). He is also a partner at ABM Air Conditioning and Heating, one of Fairfield and Westchester counties’ largest HVAC contracting companies. Rocky is a graduate of Bryant College, and serves as a member of the Board of Directors of St. Camillus Health Center in Stamford.

Chris Benjamin
Chris Benjamin

Chris joined Baywater in the summer of 2017. Based in Stamford, Chris oversees building operations at 225 High Ridge Road where he has been an engineer for 16 years. Prior to working at 225 High Ridge, Chris worked for C.W. Pond contractors for 20 years. He is a Connecticut State licensed electrician and cooling technician. Chris graduated from Andrew Warde High School in Fairfield and attended University of Idaho.

Doug Craybas
Doug Craybas

Doug Craybas joined Baywater in 2012 after a 22 year career at A. Pappajohn Construction. Doug is responsible for all property management and construction for Baywater. Prior to joining Baywater, Doug worked with the Baywater team in the construction of 1020 Boston Post Road and 17 Old Kings Highway South in Darien, as well as in the renovation of the Darien YMCA in 2011 and 2012. Doug received an Associates Degree in Applied Sciences and Architecture from Norwalk Technical College in Norwalk, Connecticut.

Lisa Elwell
Lisa Elwell

Lisa has broad experience in the retail, fashion, and lifestyle industries. She enjoyed a 10-year career in fashion media, culminating as the Fashion Director at O: The Oprah Winfrey Magazine. After moving to Darien in 2002 she worked as an interior designer and at the Darien YMCA in member services.

Marysa Fiorita
Marysa Fiorita

Marysa joined Baywater Properties in 2020 and brings to the team broad experience in real estate accounting. Marysa earned her bachelor's in economics from The University of Connecticut followed by ten years of experience in real estate accounting working for Louis Dreyfus. Her primary responsibilities at Baywater include overseeing daily accounting operations, monthly financial reporting, and detailed accounting work related to The Corbin District.

Meagan Grillo
Meagan Grillo

Meagan Grillo serves Baywater Properties as A/P and A/R Manager. Over the last 25 years, she has worked in a variety of diverse business environments including the interior design industry, retail/wholesale and the last 12 years in real estate management. Her primary responsibilities include bookkeeping/finance, general business administration and office management.

Gary Hock
Gary Hock

Gary Hock joined Baywater in October 2021 to oversee property management and building engineering after a 16-year career with Albert B. Ashforth Inc. Prior to joining Baywater, Gary worked with the Baywater team in the repositioning of 2777 Summer Street in Stamford, executing numerous capital and tenant improvement projects. Gary is a US Army active duty combat veteran. Gary is also OSHA 10 certified.

Kate Perez
Kate Perez

Kate joined Baywater in 2019 with 10 years of experience in real estate development and architecture. Prior to Baywater, she was AVP of development at CIM Group overseeing the design and construction of large scale ground-up and conversion projects in New York City and Boston. Before joining CIM, she was an architect at Elkus Manfredi Architects in Boston and Robert A.M. Stern Architects in New York City. Kate earned her Bachelors in Architecture from the University of Notre Dame and her Masters in Architecture from Yale University. She is a registered architect in New York, a LEED accredited professional, and a member of the Darien Architectural Review Board.

Christine Riniti
Christine Riniti

Prior to joining Baywater, Christine worked in financial and asset management roles for both private real estate investors and large financial institutions such as Mutual of New York Life Insurance Company and Bank of America. In addition for nine years was a director for HFF, LP, a commercial real estate capital intermediary. Working primarily on arranging debt placement, Christine was involved with over $1.5 billion of financing transactions. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a licensed Real Estate Broker in both Connecticut and Ohio. She holds a BBA degree in accounting from Adelphi University.

Luci Rogers
Luci Rogers

Prior to joining Baywater, Luci worked in the financial and asset management roles in the Commercial Real Estate industry. Luci has over 25 years of experience with overseeing financial operations within the Commercial Real estate sector. Luci earned her bachelor’s in business from Florida State University and BOMI PMFP certification. Working primarily in financial accounting, budget analysis, cash flow projections and proven ability to lead effective teams Luci has worked for The Ashforth Company, Mutual of New York as well as Cushman and Wakefield. Adept at leveraging industry knowledge, business acumen, and best practices to coordinate millions of feet of office space, including large multiple-building portfolios and small, mixed-use projects.

Rich Shedden
Rich Shedden

Rich is based in Stamford at 225 High Ridge. Rich join RXR Management in 2012 as an Engineer at 225 where he continues in that capacity for Baywater. Prior to RXR Management, Rich worked for P.J. Fosse Plumbing and Heating. Rich is a graduate of Eastchester High School and certified at Southern Westchester BOCES in plumbing and carpentry.

Sonia Traulsen
Sonia Traulsen

Sonia Traulsen serves Baywater Properties as Tenant Liaison and Business Office Manager. Sonia has an extensive background in interior design and retail customer focused businesses. Prior to her tenure at Baywater Properties, Sonia held positions at several Fortune 500 companies. She has broad experience in business office management having served in this capacity at both PaineWebber and GTE. At Time Inc., she managed a staff of sales and inventory personnel for the point of purchase distribution channel. She also managed the vehicle fleet associated with these individuals.
